Call for Posters
Submit a congress poster and become a MOVE2011 congress contributor!
It is our pleasure to invite you to submit posters for the “MOVE2011 – Think Global MOVE Local” world congress. This is your chance to become an active contributor and to assist developing MOVE2011 into a rich and diverse event. Contributions will be exhibited at the Poster Fair.
The Poster Fair is an open exhibition showcasing one or more of the MOVE2011 thematic fields. The exhibition will run throughout the congress with the possibility for presenters to specify the timings of presentations at the Poster Fair.
The deadline for the submission of posters is 16 August, 2011.
The posters should deal with one or more of the themes listed below:
The MOVE2011 world congress – Think Global MOVE local promotes the vision of getting 100 million more people physical active in sports and physical activities. With the following sub-themes:
# PEOPLE - developing customized physical activity offers and opportunities for different target groups
# PRACTICES - Trends and challenges in making people active
# PARTNERS - Making the world move by working together
We welcome a wide range of suggestions reaching from best practice examples to research-based presentations, and encourage all interested persons to submit a proposal or enquire for further details. Posters must be in English and should comply with the following format.
Poster Presentations are a great opportunity to present papers while meeting with interested attendees for in-depth discussions. Conference publications will include the abstract or background paper. Recommended poster size is up to 90 cm wide and 120 cm high.
Submission
To submit your suggestion for a presentation, please include:
# Title of the poster
# Name of contact person , institution, city and country
# Abstract of maximum 500 words, summarizing the presentation
Abstracts should be submitted electronically to contact@move2011.info before 16 August 2011.
The evaluation team will reply and contact applicants with feedback no later than 2 September 2011.
Disclaimer
The organisers do not cover the travel and/or accommodation costs of poster presenters.
However, poster presenters that have been accepted are not required to pay the congress participation fee.
